About “CNTRL Europe: Chronicle of an Unknown Band” is the story of a fictional rock-band, active in the early 90’s underground music scene of Vienna, that mysteriously vanished, the retracing of their history, their music and where they are now.
The motivation was to tell the story of a band thorugh an entirely fictional world, that appears as though it were real. A “mockumentary” of sorts. The band’s history and life is explored through graphic design, the clubs they played at, their albums, and more.
Format: 260 x 260 mm (10.2 x 10.2 in). 138 pages.

About „Untitled Tracks“ is a limited edition “artistbook” with torn pages that are an abstract artwork of their own, featuring the poetry of Frank Stanford, being pieced together and falling apart again as the reader leafs through the book. The format is perfectly square,
30 x 30 cm like an LP cover, therefore the title “Untitled Tracks”.
Font used is Tschichold’s Sabon.

About Logo for a project in collaboration with WKÖ (Austrian Economic Chamber) for a “tiny house” type of container that would showcase the work of apprentices such as carpenters, masons, etc.
The name “Stage 1” refers to both the literal open container stage that the work will be exhibited on, as well as the first Stage in the career of the apprentices, their springboard.
The arrows have the double-meaning of spatial mobility, the container can be transported and showcased at any event, and of occupational mobility, showcasing the possibility and variety of available apprentice jobs.

About Photographs Taken During A Nightmare can be described as a goth-rock folk album. On the cover is an array of strange beings and objects, both alive and dead. If you look closely enough you can discover dancing ballerinas and floating moons.
This set of characters and objects is covered by a wild frantic scrawl, pushing a number of elements partially into the negative, giving the impression of a further dimension. All this is placed in a Polaroid-like frame, with the title written by hand with black marker on an old sticky tape.

About Rarities is a Beach Boys comp. album that sold poorly and is now out of print. I took the corny original cover and turned it into something more mystical and creepy.
It now features a young Charles Manson who wrote the song “Cease to Exist” for the Beach Boys, which Dennis Wilson changed to “Never learn not to love” and performed with the Beach Boys.
Dennis Wilson was long plagued with guilt over his association and friendship with Manson, which probably contributed to his alcoholism and untimely death. The album itself features outtakes, rare B-sides and a cover of the Beatles’ “With a little help from my friends”.
